What is BidPal?

Tender software that reads the pack, so you don't miss the line that matters.

BidPal is Australian tender software for businesses that bid for work. You upload the whole tender pack. BidPal finds the key dates, knock outs and how it is scored, gives you a go or no go with the reasons, drafts every answer from your own saved business details, and checks the response the way an evaluation panel would, before you lodge. It works for any industry and any buyer: councils, state government, the Australian Government and private companies.

Why good businesses lose tenders

Most tenders are not lost on price. They are lost on these three.

01 · The missed line
Page 47.

Weeks of work, then one line in the conditions of tender rules you out. A site visit, an insurance level, a form that had to be signed.

BidPal lists every knock out on day one.
02 · The same form, again
Again.
And again.

Your ABN, insurances, people and past projects, typed into a new form for every buyer.

Saved once in your library. Every form filled in one place.
03 · The chatbot answer
Generic loses marks.

Panels can tell when a chatbot wrote it. Buzzwords with no numbers, names or proof score in the middle.

Answers built from your real jobs, then marked like the panel would.
How it works

One tender, from the pack to lodge.

Four steps. No bid writing experience needed.

Step 1 · Drop in the pack

Drop in the whole tender pack.

The request for tender, the returnable schedules, the pricing schedule and every addendum. BidPal reads every page.

Step 2 · Know if it is worth bidding

Know if it is worth bidding, in minutes.

Key dates, how to lodge, how it is scored and every knock out, in plain English. Then seven quick questions give you a go or no go with the reasons.

  • Knock outs flagged with the page they are on
  • Risks in the contract terms
  • Your time goes into tenders you can win

The questions change from one industry to the next. The work does not: read the whole pack, find what the buyer must see, prove you can deliver, and lodge it right. BidPal does that for any request for tender, quote or expression of interest.

Tender glossary

The words in every tender pack.

Tender
A formal written offer to supply goods, services or works to a buyer, at a stated price and on the buyer's terms, in answer to the buyer's request.
Request for tender (RFT)
The buyer's invitation to submit a tender. It sets out what they want, the conditions, how to respond and how responses will be scored.
Request for quote (RFQ)
A simpler request, usually for lower value work, where price and basic compliance carry most of the weight.
Expression of interest (EOI)
A first stage that asks suppliers to show their capability. A shortlist is then invited to tender.
Request for proposal (RFP)
A request where the buyer describes the outcome and asks suppliers to propose how they would deliver it.
Tender pack
All the documents the buyer releases for one tender: the request, conditions, specification, returnable schedules, pricing schedule and any addenda.
Conditions of tender
The rules of the tender process: how and when to lodge, what makes a response non conforming, and how the buyer may evaluate and negotiate.
Returnable schedules
The forms the buyer wants filled in and sent back, such as company details, insurances, referees and the tender form itself.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is BidPal?

BidPal is Australian tender software. You upload a tender pack and it finds the key dates, knock outs and scoring, gives you a go or no go, drafts every answer from your saved business details and checks it before you lodge.

Who makes BidPal?

Visionex Solutions Pty Ltd, a Melbourne tender and bid management firm (ABN 55 672 030 661). Its bid team also offers expert reviews and can finish a tender with you.

Who is BidPal for?

Any Australian business that answers tenders, in any industry. That includes construction and trades, facilities and cleaning, IT and software, professional services, health and care, community services, education, transport, environment and waste, supply of goods, and marketing and events. If a buyer sends you a tender pack, BidPal reads it.

Do I need bid writing experience?

No. BidPal asks plain questions about how you would do the work and builds the answers from there. Anything it can't answer from your details is marked for you to fill.

What file types can it read?

PDF, Word, Excel and ZIP files, including the whole tender pack at once.

Does BidPal make things up?

It is built not to. Answers come from your library and your replies, and any gap is marked, not guessed. You read and approve everything before you lodge.

How is BidPal different from ChatGPT?

A general chatbot only sees what you paste in and starts from nothing each time. BidPal reads the whole tender pack, finds the knock outs, works from your saved library, marks gaps instead of guessing and checks each answer the way a panel would.

How much does BidPal cost?

Plans are $249, $549 and $949 a month excluding GST, for 1, 3 or 6 tenders a month. Unused builds roll over for 30 days. An expert review is $495 and finish it for us is $1,990.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. Start your tender and see what BidPal finds. You choose a plan before you download your answers.

Does BidPal lodge the tender for me?

No. You lodge on the buyer's portal yourself. BidPal gets your answers and proposal ready and shows you how to set out your submission.

Where is my data stored?

Your tender files and library are stored in Sydney. The AI writing uses Anthropic's Claude, and that processing happens outside Australia, as our privacy policy explains.

Which tenders can I use it on?

Any tender pack you receive: councils, state and territory governments, the Australian Government through AusTender, and private buyers such as head contractors.

What is a build?

A build is one tender written and checked in BidPal. Your plan sets how many builds you get each month.

Can I pause my plan?

Yes. You can pause instead of cancelling: keep your files for $39 a month, or pause for free and your tender files are deleted after 60 days.

Try it on your next tender.

Drop in the pack and see what BidPal finds before you write a word.
